Your No Reservations Neighborhood Bistro
Built for families, by families
Une Petite French Love Story
La Bonne Vache began with a simple idea shared over a Sunday family dinner. Founded by two couples and a friend, this Georgetown neighborhood restaurant—named for the French phrase meaning "the good cow"—has transformed the former Booeymonger space into a warm, welcoming destination. With interiors by Partner Rachel Aikens and a menu by Chef/Partner Robert Aikens, La Bonne Vache offers French-inspired comfort for everyone, including the kids. And you'll often find Founding Partner Mandi Klingler seated at the bar, happy to greet neighbors old and new.
Honoring the legacy of Booeymonger while creating something new, La Bonne Vache is your neighborhood French-inspired bistro. Chef Robert Aiken's menu reimagines classic French flavors through burgers, sandwiches, and comforting entrées, paired with a thoughtfully curated beverage program by Operating Partners Ari & Claire Wilder.
Led by General Manager & Partner Guillermo Roa, our team is dedicated to warm hospitality, great food, and making every guest feel at home.
